250g margarine
1 teacup of vegetable oil
2 packets of baking powder
1 packet of vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon of yogurt
1 egg
Flour (as needed)
For the filling
Walnuts
Cinnamon
For the syrup
4 cups of sugar
5 cups of water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine margarine, vegetable oil, egg, yogurt, vanilla sugar, and baking powder, and start kneading.
- Gradually add flour until you get a soft dough (the texture should be like earlobe softness).
- Take a piece of dough the size of a walnut and flatten it in your palm. Place some walnut and cinnamon mixture in the center and close it up.
- Use a knife to make a small incision on top, leaving the walnuts visible.
- Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 20-25 minutes.
- Once the sweets are out of the oven and have cooled slightly, pour the cold syrup over them.
